The renovation of approximately 14,200 square feet on Level 6 of the Aston Ambulatory Building at UT Southwestern Medical Center’s South Campus enhances both patient care and clinical research environments. Focused on the Ophthalmology Clinic, Retina, Uveitis and Oncology Clinic, and dedicated research and office suites, the project modernizes key spaces to better support advanced treatment, collaboration, and innovation.
Upgraded work areas, improved patient-facing spaces, and the integration of state-of-the-art medical equipment create a more efficient and comfortable experience for all users. New specialized rooms, including specimen preparation and advanced imaging capabilities such as DEXA scanning, support a wide range of clinical studies across multiple departments.
The revitalized facility strengthens UT Southwestern’s ability to support groundbreaking research and deliver high-quality patient care. Completed ahead of schedule, the project reflects a commitment to innovation, operational excellence, and the continuous advancement of clinical and research environments.
