UTSW Peter O'Donnell School of Public Health

The Peter O’Donnell School of Public Health underwent a 44,000-square-foot renovation across four buildings on the south campus of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW). The six phased renovation encompassed new office spaces, classroom and seminar rooms, as well as anatomy, tissue culture, and wet labs with associated support space classrooms. The school welcomed its first class of Master of Public Health students in the fall of 2023. This is the first new graduate program at UTSW in 50 years and will complement the existing medical school, school of health professions, and biomedical sciences graduate program. These modernized spaces are dedicated to nurturing the next generation of public health leaders and facilitating ongoing research within the growing School of Public Health program at UTSW.
