UNT Carl E. Everett Education & Administration Building Build-Out

The 25,000-square-foot renovation of the Carl E. Everett Education & Administration (EAD) Building, one of the campus’s primary flagship facilities, repositions the space as a welcoming hub for the Institute of Health Disparities (IHD). The project transforms a traditional layout into an open, collaborative environment that encourages connection, teamwork, and engagement.

The redesigned space features communal workstations, shared collaboration areas, and contemporary finishes, including custom lighting and acoustical wall panels. A renovated atrium and technology-enabled huddle rooms support seamless communication, while an open kitchen and a 100-person seminar room provide flexible space for events and programming. Together, these elements create a modern, inviting setting that supports collaboration and community impact.
