The renovation of the university library transforms a 1984-era facility into a vibrant, student-centered campus hub designed to support modern learning. Spanning the second, third, and fourth floors, the 23,000-square-foot renovation introduces flexible environments that replace traditional book stacks with spaces tailored for collaboration, study, and engagement. Complementary updates on the first floor enhance the building’s overall experience, creating a cohesive destination at the heart of campus.

The reimagined interior features upgraded finishes, new flooring, and a redesigned layout aligned with current building code standards. Open seating, group study rooms, and informal huddle areas encourage collaboration, while curated furnishings enhance comfort and usability. A modernized central staircase improves circulation and connectivity between floors. The addition of an Executive Office Suite for the Office of the Provost on the third floor strengthens the building’s role as both an academic and administrative hub.
